Docklet Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Skerryapps ("we", "us") for the Android app Docklet (the "app"). By tapping Agree in the app, or by installing or using it, you agree to these terms and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't install or use the app.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who then agrees to these terms for you.

Google is not a party to these terms. Google Play's own terms also apply to downloading the app and to purchases.

1. License

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. The app, its designs, name and icon stay ours. You may not:

2. Changes to the app

The app is under active development. We may at any time, and without notice unless the law requires it:

We make such changes for valid reasons, such as new Android versions, launcher or system changes, Google Play rules, security, performance, legal requirements, costs, or the development of the product. We don't promise any future feature, update or fix, or any level of support, except where the law requires it.

3. Pro

The app may offer Pro, a one-time purchase made through Google Play. It is not a subscription. Pro is tied to the Google account you bought it with and unlocks the Pro features of the app as they are offered at the time. Which features are part of Pro can change as described in section 2. Pro doesn't include our other apps or any separate future product.

Google Play handles payment, taxes and refunds under its own terms. Pro can usually be restored with the same Google account. By buying Pro you ask for it to be unlocked at once and acknowledge that, where the law allows, you then lose the right to withdraw from the purchase, as shown when you buy.

If a change we make takes away a substantial part of the Pro features you paid for, you keep the rights the law gives you in that case.

Pro or other features given for free, for example to users who installed the app before Pro was introduced or by a promo code, are a gift. They follow the same rules, we may set conditions for them, and they don't entitle you to a refund or payment.

4. Other apps

The dock shows and opens other apps, and the app works together with your launcher. Those apps, their names and icons belong to their developers, who are responsible for them. We may not be able to make every launcher work.

5. Permissions and accessibility service

Some features need access you grant yourself, such as usage access or the accessibility service. The app explains what each is for before you turn it on. They are optional, and you can turn them off at any time in Android's settings. Some features stop working without them.

6. Your use of the app

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it is fit for a particular purpose, accurate, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors. It depends on Android, your device and your launcher, which we don't control, so we don't promise that any feature works on every device or launcher, or keeps working after their updates.

This section doesn't limit any rights you have by law that can't be excluded, such as the legal guarantee for digital content you paid for in the EU.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, time or opportunity, arising from the app or these terms. Our total liability for all claims is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or under product liability law.

9. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or bug reports, we may use them freely, without any obligation or payment to you.

10. Ending

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your license if you break these terms, for example by getting around Pro checks, or if we stop offering the app. Sections 6 to 9 and 11 to 13 continue after the license ends.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when we change the app, the law changes, or our business changes. We will publish the new version at this address with a new date and, where the law requires it, let you know in a reasonable way, for example in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept it. If you don't, stop using and uninstall the app. A change doesn't take away rights you have by law.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and disputes go to the courts of Malta. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may also bring a claim in its courts. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems can be solved by email.

13. General

If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right, we don't give it up. You may not transfer these terms or your license to someone else. We may transfer them, for example to a company that takes over the app, without reducing your rights. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the app. If they are translated, the English version prevails.
